This is why the Honorable Pascale St-Onge, Minister of Sports and Minister responsible for CED, today announced a repayable contribution of $200,000 for lignum veneer. This support from CED will enable the company to take the turn of Industry 4.0 by improving its innovative processes and its productivity.
Lignum Veneer has made a name for itself in joining veneer sheets made with different types of wood. Thanks to CED’s financial support, the company will be able to acquire and install specialized production equipment in its plant, which is currently operating at full capacity. Digital will improve the consistency and quality of the products of this innovative SME, while maximizing value-added tasks.
