SDAX, an integrated digital trading and investing platform regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), has been officially launched.
The platform provides access to curated institutional-grade investments focused on real estate and ESG to institutional, accredited and retail investors.
The launch follows its Series B funding round of S$24 million in late 2021 from PSA International, Straits Trading Company and New Horizon Global.
The digital investment platform provides accredited and retail investors, family offices and institutions with digital investments backed by real assets.
This is possible through primary and secondary market mechanisms regulated by the MAS, with both Capital Markets Services (CMS) and Recognized Market Operator (RMO) licenses.
SDAX digital securities are high quality private investment transactions that undergo a rigorous due diligence process based on a strong financial control framework.
After tokenization, they are then split on the SDAX exchange, opening up a more diversified portfolio with accessible minimum investment amounts.
“With a focus on real estate, corporate finance and ESG, we offer a curated suite of high-quality investments sought after by institutions, accredited investors and individuals.
We are also integrating a risk-based ESG framework for projects that support the Financing the Transition to a Net-Zero Future (FTT) initiative. At SDAX, we are leading the way in transforming access to investing with digital securities,”
said Raymond Poh, managing director of SDAX.
“SDAX is democratizing investment opportunities for more investors through targeted financial innovation, generating wealth based on real assets.
We are changing the investment industry by partnering with companies and institutions to raise funds more efficiently, while strengthening the governance of these investment opportunities for the public market,”
said Khoo Boon Hui, Chairman of SDAX Exchange.
