Hana Bank has been named the winner of the Banker’s Innovation in Digital Banking Awards 2022 in the mobile sector.
The bank was recognized for its My Branch service, an omnichannel banking service that combines the convenience of digital banking with the strengths of face-to-face branches. Unlike existing online banking, My Branch allows the bank to open individual branches tailored to the characteristics of each customer and provide personalized financial information and manage customers online and offline. It was recognized as a unique case of innovation.
In particular, The Banker spoke highly of Hana Bank My Branch gaining popularity as a new banking channel. The bank has opened 7,500 My branches for business executives and apartment residents since April last year, attracting more than 40,000 new customers.
The Banker is a prestigious financial magazine published by the Financial Times in the UK. Hana Bank was voted Best Bank in Korea at the Bank of the Year Awards hosted by The Banker in December 2021.
