In his welcome address, UDUF Founding President Dr. Smart Ezuma noted that many people start a business with the aim of making instant profits, only to be disappointed when their plans have not materialized.
He said such a situation could be avoided by taking the time to plan the steps needed to be successful, which includes “getting organized, keeping detailed records, analyzing your competition.
“Others include being creative, staying focused, being willing to make sacrifices, providing quality service and being consistent, as well as being flexible and having good planning and organizational skills,” he said. he declares.

“Business is not buying and selling, done by traders. A businessman is that person who is always available to deliberately advocate for an identifiable need.
“So any business that generates profit without gain will not survive the test of time.
“If you can’t see the gain of a business, the profit of the business is not sustainable.
“Thus, a businessman should always be concerned with the gains of the business, and businessmen should imbibe the spirit of leadership, determination, distinction and discipline, if he is to succeed. “, said the DG.
