Intermediate Bookbinding for Artists
December 2nd and 3rd Time: 6:30 - 9:30 PM Instructor: John Watson Fee: $40 ($28 for DIVA Members) plus $15 Materials Fee (see below) The materials and methods for the embellishment of covers and pages, and the creation of closures are covered. Students also learn about the history of bookbinding, papermaking and printing during the class, especially as it relates to the type of binding being taught. |
![]() Make Your Own Holiday Art Cards & Gifts

Fee: $12
Materials Provided Create your own holiday cards, gift tags, or decorations in the form of a personal work of art. Using the theme of collage in this workshop you will use mixed media techniques, as well as markers and alcohol inks to make unique works of art for the holidays. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own unique accessories to personalize your creation.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS
Thomas Blank recently retired from a career in Hollywood film and television directing. Blank worked on various projects at Warner Brothers and Universal as an assistant director (working occasionally but briefly with Dick Donner, George Seaton, Robert Wise, Elia Kazan, and Alfred Hitchcock) until he started to receive directing assignments of his own. |
